IfyoureallylovemeWORK IN DEVELOPMEMT: 2018-2019
Dancers, chorergraphers, and activists are collaborating on a work about the murders by police of unarmed black men. The dance is based on traditional mourning forms, including the solea of flamenco. It will be performed, as an offering of mourning and resistance, by dancers and community members at rallies or marches and in neighborhoods affected by state-sponsored gun violence. |
